    The fggm is super accurate in my 10 twist and everything I've read suggests it'll shoot fine in a 12 twist as well. I would try a box before I bought a lot but if it will shoot it'll be much better than the 175's at 1000+

    I shot one box through a new 22" bartlein 7.5 twist 6.5 cm barrel spun up by SPR. limited testing but held 1 /2 moa of vertical at 600 and sub 1/2 moa at 1125. Velocity was right around 2800 give it take according to JBM

    Rifle Scopes Scope Issue: Consistent on .22, erratic on a .30-06, thoughts?

    I would also check the bobro mount. If everything is tight there i would mount the scope in a good set of rings like Seekins, nightforce, or badger and try that. Then you'll know if it's the mount or the scope itself.

    All else being equal, folding or retractable wouldn't matter to me as long as you could clean from the breech without changing the settings of the cheekpiece and buttplate.

    Barrel break in yes or no

    Shoot 10-20 rounds, clean...If there's a lot of copper fouling i shoot 10-20 and clean again and repeat as needed...then I clean every 200-300 rounds of so. In my experience bartlein, krieger, brux and obermeyer barrels have shown little to no copper fouling from the start

    I've shot several TX white tails with the 142 6.5 bullets at about 2875 from a 6.5x55. Ranges were from about 75 to right around 300 yards.     6.5x55 built on Rem 700 long action, brux 6.5 1-8 twist #4 barrel, McMillan sporter stock, Bushnell Elite 3-12 with g3 reticle. Consistent 1/2 moa rifle with 142 lrab at about 2875fps.

    I've been using a 2 stage tac sport for several months and really liking it. Everything is adjustable and very crisp 2nd stage with zero creep.
