    Cant speak about the leupold but I'm happy with the vortex. I've ranged cows at 1100, steel plates to almost 1400, trees at over a mile and a metal building at over 2100 yards

    Bushnell lrts 3-12 is a few ounces heavier but an excellent scope and caneraland's prices make it one of the best values in optics that you'll ever find.

    LW sells, or did sell, tapered octagon blanks with a full length rib. They're pricey but they're nice.

    Vortex Razor HD 4000 Rangefinder

    It works best in normal mode for me too. I've got readings right at 1100 on a cow, 1392 on steel plate, 1900+ on a dense grove of trees, and just over 2100 on a metal building.

    I don't like anything but a sling on a hunting rifle...maybe a bipod but probably not.

    I put a Bushnell LRTS 3-12 on my hunting rifle recently and I'm really liking it so far. I think the G3 reticle is going to be perfect for hunting.

    I recently got a 3-12 from Cameraland and am extremely happy with it. Glass is good, tracking is good and the G3 is probably now my favorite reticle for a hunting rifle. if they still have the sale on open box models you cant beat the price either.

    I'm looking for the scope mounting length of the regular magmount, not the compact. That would be the measurement across the rings from outside to outside. Cant seem to find that anywhere. Thanks Kevin Hallmark

    Rifle Scopes bushnell lrts 4.5-18x44 experience?

    I just got an open box 3-12 from cameraland. So far couldn't be happier. I haven't done a tall target test but seems to track good. Clicks and reticle match up and it returns to zero. G3 is probably my new favorite reticle for hunting. And glass is good.

    I have an AIAX 308. I have loaded 178 ELDM's since it was new. I mostly shoot steel but have shot a few groups on paper at 1125. I can hold .75-1 moa of vehicle at that distance as long as I don't pull one. A buddy have me a box of FGGM 185 juggernauts to try. They were sub .5 moa at all...

    Alpha Concealment makes real good belt and iwb holsters for the glock 48. I've got one in order now. I've been using their holsters and mag carriers for several years now with no complaints.

    In my rifle I'm pretty sure I won't be able to improve over the factory loads. This group is with fgmm 185 juggernauts on a good day with a light steady wind.
