    Loose Lips Sink Ships

Ever hear of an "In-volute bird"? It's a bird that inhabits most government installations and flies in ever decreasing circles at and ever increasing speed until it disappears up it's own ass-hole! Kinda like Congress.

Rifle Scopes 308 optic, which one

I have a SWFA SS 16 power fixed on my T/C .308 in an XLR chassis and love it. I too have bad eyes so the 16x gives me a little more "edge". Plus they are mil/mil which is great.

Problem ejecting .308 spent cartridges out of barand new model 10 Savage

I had the same problem with S&B ammo in a single shot .223 I used to have. S&B and the cheap Wolf ammo both would get stuck, all other ammo ran fine. Could be thin brass.

    ammunition locator

On this same subject. Just got my sept. issue of Guns&Ammo and there is e good article about this that de-bunks the hype. Author is Jim Bequette. He interviewed top brass at all the major manufacturers and they all sai they are running 24/7 and adding capacity in some cases.

Rifle Scopes The importance of correct leveled scope.....or not...?

I always mount my scopes using the plumb line method. I have a true level patio slab and use a Black & Decker help mate (or whatever it's called) check level, set rifle in vise or bi-pod, check level on the action then check vertical reticle alignment with plumb line which is about 40 yds. out...

Rifle Scopes Can you recomend an inexpensive beginner's scope for an AR?

I also recommend the Nikon. I am running one on my S&W AR and it works great. Plus you can download dope info from their website.

Help me build my first ar

For that kind of budget I'd just get the best bang for your buck S&W M&P model you can find. Great product and great CS if you need it.

    Maggie’s Why did the Operator...

OK, I'll play. Because there was a Hooter's and a stripper bar on the other side and all he had was a Denny's and McD.

    S&W M&P 15-22 Review

I too love mine. I have one of the "first generation" ones that does not have a threaded barrel. The only issue I had was that S&W had a problem with the first gen recoil spring so mine would ftf occasionally. Did some google searching and found that they fixed it with a different spring that...

Ruger American v.s. TC Venture v.s Savage Axis v.s Weatherby Vanguard, etc.

Where did you see bad reviews on the T/C Venture? I have one in .308 and it did shoot MOA in the POS factory stock. I now have it in an XLR chassis and it is very accurate.
