    Has anyone tried this with an XLR chassis set up? I just recently got mine and torqued it to the recommended 65 in. lbs. and haven't shot it yet.

    b back in the day, I used to operate precision laser welding systems on nuclear fuel components and the only thing we used for cleaning lenses was straight grain alcohol such as "Everclear" or 200 proof USP pharmaceutical grade. Just don't drink and drive!

So I have always checked alignment and lapped the rings. Even the most precision rings will not be aligned if the bases are off...

    Yesterday I ordered a fixed 16x SWFA SS scope and they have a special going right now that included a free set of their rings. Anybody have any experience with them? I usually use Warne rings but what the heck, since free is good I might as well give them a try.

    Kyle rocks! Just spoke with him this afternoon and my chassis is shipping tomorrow. My AI 10 round mag is still on back order but he is sending it with a five round mag that I could return when the ten round sows up, but what the heck I'll just keep it and buy the ten rounder whenever.
