    If you don't already have it they recommend using purple loc-tite on the rail screws that are provided with the rail.

    While the Summit is nice and light weight it does not come with a match grade barrel hindering it's accuracy, but the barrel can be changed out. It works great for squirrel hunting though.

    Some 455s have great accuracy, the 2 I had did not, even after bedding and pillars. The Tikka shots fantastic right out of the box and shoots better than my 452 which surprised me. The Tikka shoots almost as good as my KIDD and Volquartsen at less than half the cost. I probably won't by another...

    To just get me shooting, I used a set of Weaver flat top 2 pice bases and some Burris rings till I can get a 1 pice flat top and my Vortex rings on.

    Overall very nice rifle, even though the mag is ugly it functions perfectly. I adjusted the trigger down to just over 2 lbs before I even shot it, very little bit of creep but very smooth. Bolt cleand before range trip because it felt a little grity, after 100 rounds feels better than my Cooper...

    Took the Tikka TX1 out for it's first run and am so far impressed, had to fight 15-20mph tailing cross winds but it still shot better than expected. Shots were off bags resting on the tailgate of my truck. Scope was a Athlon Midas TAC 6-24
