    Re: differences between rem 722 & 700? thanks for the info, I called the shop that has the rifle, I can pick it up for 250-275, out the door. shouldn't be to bad for a short action with a decent trigger and a clip slot.

    I found an old remington 722, 300 savage today, the receiver is clip slotted, and is is a 6 digit ser#. what would the difference be between this and a 700 action. If it's all the same but the number stamped on the side, I'll buy it, the whole thing was 400.00(asking price) good, bad or what?

    Re: P-Mags wont feed, wtf? i had a couple of 20 rd mags that hung up, I called Magpul, they replaced ASAP, they even sent a return label to get the problem mags back to inspect them.
