Does anyone know what kind or type of paint Manners uses on their stocks?

As an fyi though, if it is an elite camo (with the black carbon fiber showing through), what you see is not paint but molded into the gelcoat.

Rifle Scopes Leupold Custom Shop (M1 Knobs)

I've done it a number of times and been pleased each time. It's been a few years, but when I did it I think it was closer to $60ish per turret converted (I did the elevation turret a only mostly).

    6 dasher vs 6XC vs 6BR

6br is king. No need for the hassle of the dasher, or the speed of the 6xc. Load a 105 over 30.5 varget and go shoot some tiny groups.

Stockys carbon fiber stocks any good?

The stocks they sell come from a couple different suppliers. The one primate above shows is made by one company out of New Zealand as he indicated. The others, like they're M50 stock and stocks that look more like an EH1 are made by AG composites. They are excellent stocks. AG composites makes...

    MDT Chassis Discount code?

Brownells sells an MDT chassis that they rebrand. It is essentially an XL gen 2 with a slightly different forearm. I have one, and it's great. Anyway, brownells frequently runs sales on the chassis for $399. In addition, they frequently have 10% off sales, which you can add on top of the $399...

    Shouldered Barrel Options

Price. PVA has run sales as well which are very appealing. The lead time estimate you claim though may be generous. A number of people have rather extended lead times in the barrels they have ordered from pva.

Stockys VG2 CF long range stock?

That's the stock Proof Research is using for their switch rifle. AG Composites, the maker of this stock, also makes the stock used on the Barrett Fieldcraft, which I own. I've handled many stocks through the years, and the quality of these stocks are fantastic.

Is the Origin worth ditching the RPR for?

My origin is easily as smooth as my tl3, and substantially better than any rpr I've handled. For the benefits you indicate above, it is a great choice. Don't think though that it is the economical choice. With the different barrels and bolt heads, you'll be in to it for a pretty penny, even...

    Two-stage trigger weights

My Bix Tac-Sport is set up as light/lighter 1st/2nd. First stage is light, but heavy enough to be perceptible, with the second stage a very crisp, light pull. IIRC, I'm at about 1.5 lbs total (1# 1st, and 8 oz 2nd).

Will a Big Horn Origin fit in a Defiance Deviant Medium Action Inlet (Remington 700 Short Action Footprint)??

I have a stock like you are discussing along with an Origin action. The ejection port is a little bit longer on the origin action, and the bolt handle notch may need to be deepened slightly due to the thickness of the origin handle. Both of these are easy to do yourself if you are remotely handy.

    ORIGIN Orders

^^ Agreed. I've done this modification to a number of stocks for various actions. Just take it slowly.

    ORIGIN Orders

Yes, the handle is swept. I'm certain it will have interference with a surgeon bolt notch. I tried dropping mine into the stock off my TL3, and it hit as well. If you are competent with a rat tail file, I'm sure you could modify the inlet yourself to get it to work. You'll also likely have to...
