Rifle Scopes First Serious LR Scope

I'd recommend a quality rail (badger, NF) and a matching set of precision steel rings. Again NF or badger would be my choice.

    Time for a new rig.

I'm in the same position as you. Im going to buy a CTR, drop it in a Manners, put a 2 stage and go to town. Tikkas are phenomenal for the price and shoot lights on. I'll replace the barrel eventually but the factory barrel will get me all I need.

    Muzzle Break?

I haven't ran either but a few of my friends speak highly of the LB.

Bummer to hear that but Timney will get you taken care of. Definitely need to make a little room for the CE on your stock.

Hunting & Fishing 162gr eldx for LR Elk

Interested to hear more as well. When I build my 7 mag for elk I'm torn between the 162 eldx and the 180 vld.

Rifle Scopes Illumination - who uses it, when, and what for?

I use them for hunting, particularly for lowlight/night hunting. Using the lit reticle or dot makes it easy for quick acquisition and accurate shooting when non-illuminated reticles would be almost impossible to see. I think it gives an advantage to take an accurate and ethical shot in every...

224 Valkyrie or 6.5 Creedmoor Build

If your sole purpose is shooting steel and paper, the 224 is what I'd do in an AR platform. For hunting and all around use, the 6.5 gets the advantage.

    Bedding Tikka in Manners EH1A?

I'm guessing this will have different opinions... I've heard you don't need pillars and glass bedding doesn't hurt..

22 Creedmoor shooters - any regrets?

Interested to hear more feedback. It's an amazing round and can be salty even out of a shorter barrel..

16-18" bolt action killin rigs: show em.

Detroit - really like your rig! What are you shooting out of the 6.5?

    1/7.5 or 1/8 twist 18" 6.5 Creedmoor?

I'd like to hear about the bullet weights as well. I've been thinking of building another 6.5 with a 20" barrel and would still like to shoot the 140s or 143s but it seems most are recommending a little lighter bullet
