    That velocity will be fine for your intended distance. It's not all 168's that have a problem with going into the "trans-sonic" problem, only the Sierra Match Kings. Most people shooting 308's are using the bigger bullets or something bigger than 168 grain for 1000 yards. 175 grain Sierra Match...

    First, welcome to Snipers Hide. Looks like you're headed just fine, "1/2 moa at 200yrds". Of course the next thing is to make sure that it maintains that same accuracy out to your desired ranges, "800-900 yards". I don't mean that it will get less accurate since you're not using 168 Sierra Match...
