    Bushnell ar750006 Red Dot

Likely a dumb question, but I want to be sure: You are looking through the optic the correct direction, right? The way it's described here, it almost sounds like you're looking through the lens from the front and can physically see the emitter through the window, when you should be looking...

    Night Vision Holosun AEMS

The 512 is much larger. According to a Holosun rep I talked to, the AEMS is basically the 512 guts in a smaller housing

    Rehead spacing a barrel.

As in, if you reinstall the 7mm barrel? Assuming nothing is changed on the action when installing the .300 (lapped lugs, squared face, etc), then the headspace will be the same if reinstalled to the same point with the same lug.

    Mesa Precision Summit?

Built a 338 Win Mag on the Ti action for the boss, have a stainless SA here waiting on assembly for a 6.5 hunting rifle. Impressions on both actions are nice. I like the pinned scope base arrangement, and they look unique. I wish the bolt lift was a little lighter, but the 338 shoots well...

Help with model 70 bolt assembly

Post '64 push feed guns don't have an extractor cut in the breech, they use a sliding extractor in the right bolt lug and a flat breech face. The CRF guns do have the cut though, so if he has one of those it'll be more of a challenge. If it's one of the FN produced guns I've had the headspace...

    Custom nylon work?

For multiple layers of heavier nylon, yeah, you'd need a sturdier walking foot machine. If I recall, the Lightfighter forum has a subsection specifically for guys that roll their own gear. Might be worth a look.

    Gunsmithing 870 Wingmaster Stock

Paint stripper, then sanding, then tung or boiled linseed oil. Citristrip seems to do pretty well. The sanding shouldn't be terrible once you let the stock dry after stripping

    PSA- Cooked Bartlein during Cerakote

I think the point was that it wasn't done at low temp, so 300F for an hour. That's going to wreak havoc.

what length Centurion C4 Rail on a Tikka Tac A1?

I have the Fortis Rev II on a couple of Adams piston guns that I've been pleased with. There's also the Troy Alpha rails, but I don't know if the way those attach is terribly conducive to a precision rifle.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns What’s this?

It's likely an airsoft gun. A good portion of the non-firing props used in film and TV production are airsoft or other replicas from Asia. You'll see this especially in lower budget productions, and for use by extras. For close ups they'll generally use a real, converted gun, or a higher end...
