    I personally have not had to use their customer service, but I typically have only heard good things. I'm sure they'll get you squared away.

    Did you call iray usa? That sounds weird. Not to mention I'm fairly certain IRAY uses an asic, not an fpga in their cameras.

    Well, I know Swaro, Sig, and Vortex does. I would think Leupold would, but I guess I don't know for sure,lol. If the tube isn't damaged I certainly think they would. Definitely worth trying.......right?

    Quick and dirty .... Yes, it is much better than the raptar in every aspect(ranging distance, speed of range to solution time, size, weight, etc...). I'll be using a MRF for the next few weeks and I'll be very surprised if I like it better than the MARS-L, but we'll see.

    It's a lifetime warranty. Why would anyone try working on it themselves (if they've never worked on riflescopes before). Just send it in for service. You might end up with a new scope if they don't have parts to fix it(assuming you don't void the warranty by trying to fix it yourself. Anyhow...

    I wouldn't rule out the Vortex Venom 5-25. Crazy wide fov, zero stop, and I believe 10yd parallax if you care about that. Other than that I would look at SWFA offerings and Primary arms for best bang for your buck.

    Envision MARS-L Announced - Wilcox RAPTAR Killer?

    I've used one and was really impressed. Super small and range performance exceeded my expectations. On a slight hazy day was consistently hitting steel ipsc over 2k and grassy mountain sides well over 3k. Has some nice features too, but I'm not sure what and what not I can say yet.

    To the OP, I would say your latter guess is spot on. What I'm hearing most optics companies and majority of gun companies (except for good custom rifle builders) are down for the year or even the past few years. Some are hurting very badly. So i would imagine companies are dumping inventory...
