Night Vision will poi shift on reap ir or mkll when zoomed in?

Its all in the display. You are essentially looking at a TV screen. So it shouldnt happen. If it is happening I dont think it would be the zoom causing it. It would just be an internal mechanical shift that just happened to shift coincidentally after the last shot before you zoomed. This is...

Rifle Scopes Who would sell their NF 7-35 for the Kahles 525?

Anyone that would trade a 5-25NF or especially a 7-35NF for any Kahles is not running on all cylinders, IMO

    15x56 Comparo

The Swaro 15x56 are unbeatable currently. When they redesigned them in 14/15ish they really did an awesome job. If you have your eyes on them you might as well get them because you will not be happy with anything less now. A few runner ups that you may want to look at are the Sig 15x56 and the...

Rifle Scopes So which scope maker absolutely 100% makes their own glass and or lens.

Nikon sport optics does not make or grind glass. Every one of their products is outsourced from China, Philippines, or Japan(not 100% sure if they have anything from Japan at the moment). Meopta has there own manufacturing plants. One in Europe that I know of and one in New York that I know of...

    Honestly, its mind boggling.

    Rifle Scopes Another Vortex down

Not what I was saying at all. Orkan said a TT turret has never slipped. Since you run an integral rail/ base action and the gun was still shooting bugholes(since you build a great rifle) the only possible answer is that your turrets slipped. Not saying the scope failed at all. Really just...

    Rifle Scopes Another Vortex down

Do yourself a favor and dont listen to a thing this Rex says. His videos are riddled with errors. Hell, in one of his video's he touts USO as being the only 100% USA made scope on the market. When in fact they out source for many major components from overseas(not germany). He also touts them...

    Rifle Scopes Another Vortex down

You are full of it Dude. Get over yourself. Your good friend had a turret issue on his TT last year at the South Dakota match. It hurt him the whole first day. He normally finishes top 5 at that match and if I remember correctly I dont think he ended up in the top 30.

    Rifle Scopes Another Vortex down

I agree 100% with Jafo96. Falex has been nothing but a vortex troll for a number of years now. He has admitted that he personally has had two supposed issues with Vortex scopes that were not issues at all. My guess is that he is butt hurt that vortex didnt give him new scopes for his user error...

Rifle Scopes Kahles vs. Mark 6 (specifically, 1-6's)

I would agree with this. Kahles and Swarovski definitely are not known for extreme durability. The Gen 2 Razor has been proving itself on one of our countries most elite forces HK416's,240's, and 249's for 3-4 years now and all of "those guys" I talk to absolutely love them.

Rifle Scopes Kahles vs. Mark 6 (specifically, 1-6's)

I can tell you as far as the SOCOM community goes the Vortex Razor 1-6 has been cleaning house on all the evals that they have done at Range 37 and CRANE. Not that you should get one because tier one operators are running them, but the evals are legit. Yes, it is heavier, but I'd bet alot of...

Rifle Scopes Comprehensive Tactical Scope Test

So has anyone bothered to check credentials on the author of this? Is he at the very least an experienced shooter? Does he have any experience in the optics field?I mean you guys are taking this for gospel and no one even knows who he is. I can tell you there are many errors in his testing...

    Rifle Scopes s&b vignetting .....

As has already been said this is normal for the 5-25 S&B. Its actually more common in scopes than people seem to talk about or notice. The scopes that you see it most in are scopes with exceptionally wide FOV's and it also seems more prevalent in FFP scopes.

Rifle Scopes Minox finally gets into the game

These are absolutely the Premier scopes, just with a minor facelift. What I heard out of IWA is that Blaser bought Optronika and Minox with the intent to develop a tactical line of scopes for the Blaser tactical rifles. Blaser is big in Europe and they are focusing on that market. However I am...

Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor 1x6 lack of FFP an issue?

Well that is kind of odd Trevor. Last time I checked Jesse T. and Kalani L. , who are both sponsored by Optics planet and are very highly ranked 3gun shooters are running 2nd focal scopes. I have to assume this is because of the daylight bright dot that the Swaro 1-6 and the Razor 1-6 offer...

Night Vision Anyone compare a Wilcox RAPTAR Lite ES vs a LDI DBAL-D2

I have the regular Raptar right now. I love the LRF portion\capabilities, but the IR laser and flood leaves me wanting. Honestly the flood is about useless. When I first got it I thought ìt was just on the lowest setting, but it wasn't, it was turned all the way up. It just doesnt have the power...

Rifle Scopes another viper pst goes down from 338 lm

Having "parts hanging off and rattling on the scope" and/or debris in the scope certainly sucks. I have a certain scope that cost $3500 two years ago (not S&B) and it developed visible debris after less than 200rds on a non-magnum rifle. It certainly is pain when this happens and I dont think...

Rifle Scopes another viper pst goes down from 338 lm

I think that is exactly why Rob posted that. He has been around long enough to know that when someone has the same problem over and over again that they more than likely are looking in the wrong place.

Rifle Scopes Larue OBR 7.62 and Hensdoldt SSP-P Mounting Issue

Are you saying that the scope is loose when you have the mount tightened up or are you just talking about how the recoil lug fits in the receiver?
