    Re: How important is magnification for long range? I also would recommend 25x. You can always dial it down. I've had a couple S&B's and haven't any problem with them. Just got a 5-25 and so far so good. Also I shoot here in the SoCal desert and I rarely go below 20x.

    Re: side focus If the power is over 10x, yes its worth it. I've had several 3-9x that the parallax was terrible.

    Re: Why No F1 Nightforce Highpowered optics? Just how you interpret the word "Soon". I love my 5 NF's but I'm very happy with my new S&B. I know you'll say its worth the wait but at my age that's not really an option.

    From adds that I have seen for the 5-25x56 model it is advertized the ones with MOA turrets have 56 MOA total adjustment while the Mil models have a total of 93 MOA equivalent adj. Why such a large difference between the two. Seems like the MOA guys are being shortchanged.

    Re: NF moar or NF np R2 I have both and if I'm shooting at small targets on paper at 400 to 1K, I feel the NP-R1 fine reticle is better. The MOAR seems better suited for steel, reactive targets, etc. I will say the MOAR pops out at you quicker for faster acquisition.
