    Can't speak for the APA Fat Bastard, but I have the Badger FTE on my .308. Dramatic difference in felt recoil and muzzle rise.

    The Midway Weaver Tactical Grand Slam would be another option. I have one of these on my wife's .223 coyote gun and it has performed very well. Good reviews on it also.

    I use it for the 155 AMax and the 155 Nosler Custom Competition. Very accurate and clean burning. Also meters good.

    I have one of the Vortex 5x15 HSs and had one of the 4x16 PSTs. IMHO the glass on my 5x15 HS is better than the 4x16 PST I had. YMMV.

    What barrel twist rate for 308 build?

    I have a 1 in 11.25 twist on mine and it shoots both the 155 & 175 grain bullets very accurately. Rock Creek 5R.
