    I'd just go with it it looks fine. If you switch you will gain only around 0.02-0.03 inches depending on how far your scope is in the mount. More towards 0.02 I would think. I'd rather have it close and gain another 6mil of elevation myself

Probably in the minority but have no issues with it as most stages aren't really long range and the one that is is usually 400 or less and the targets have typically been generous. on bay stages, I think you actually have an advantage...

    I've not had any issues with it as a short action and run it that way most of the time. I think it's fine and the extra bolt throw isn't a big deal. Itd probably be better with a sfp though.     Turret "stickers"

    Could also print these on white with just mils and some white space on top. Use clear tape and some wet erase markers and instead of an armboard or data card just mark on your turrets the stage targets. next stage wipe it clean and start over.
