    Texan Loadmaster

You might try castboolits forum if no one can help you here. A camera or even better video camera, next time is a good idea before tearing down your next project.

    Giraud annealing machine observations

If you add another torch you can speed up the process. 223 on mine take 3 seconds.

Need press to be removable. What are you using?

On my 2" reciever mount, the top plate has 1/4" studs in it, use wing nuts to secure the press to it. Fast, cheap and doesn't require tools.

    Bullet feeder for dillon 650xl

They both work, the only thing you give up with the KISS/mrbulletfeeder is the ability to have a PC die and seat then crimp in two stations. This is a video of one of the 650 GSI feeders I setup with a homemade collator. The GSI is also includes a billet aluminum tool head. Not as big of a...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

That is the problem, you don't know anything except what you read in a thread about a year ago. If everyone lets that go uncorrected, there will be a bunch of other people that are also misinformed. That information may be correct in some context but you added the "registered with the ATF"...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

There "could be" a lot of things, its a pointless argument. I tell you what, 304-616-4500 is a direct number to the NFA branch of the BATFE (I am sure they could direct you somewhere else in the branch but that is the only number I keep in my phone) call them and tell them you wish to register...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

Yes, I figured I would have come across it in the almost 30 years I have been reloading but things do change. With nothing to back it up except what someone said, sometime, somewhere...I couldn't help but remember when I was told, by more than one person, that there was a rabbit that when...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

I posted the link to the law in #39. Repeating false, "somebody said", information doesn't make it fact. If all you know is some line of bullshit someone fed you with nothing to back it up, you should be open minded about learning. Like I was when I asked for links to the information you had...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

Wildbill the "broad based legalities" you posted are just the "Recommendations" from the NPFA. They only become law if they are adopted.

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

Not to mention "(4) Small arms ammunition and components of small arms ammunition." Are exempt of the Federal explosive law and regulations. Page 44 here http://www.atf.gov/files/publications/download/p/atf-p-5400-7.pdf The NPFA 495 doesn't mean anything, it is just "recommendations" for...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

Where do you find the "register" part. I found this. Alliant Powder - Storage & Handling Unwritten are the words "register with ATF". State and City laws only count for people who live within them. For that matter the OP could have signed a contract for his dwelling that prohibts storage...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

You wouldn't happen to have a link to a .gov that confirms this would you? Like this link that exempts "small arms ammunition and components thereof;" https://www.atf.gov/publications/factsheets/factsheet-explosives-in-the-united-states.html Hell, I have single 20 lb kegs of powder.

    Homemade 45 acp shotshell die

Loaded up a few, the wads were cut down to 11/16" and hard to get in on the first one. After that my brain started working and I used the wad guide off of one of my shotshell reloaders. They hold 84.9+\- grains of #12 or around 425 pellets. Used 6 grains of 231 and over-shot wads punched from...

    Homemade 45 acp shotshell die

I found a suitable donor die in my stash, an RCBS 44mag/SPL die. Ran a file across it and found that it was way too hard to machine. So I heated it up to take the heat treat out of it. At that point I drilled and tapped it 1/2-20 and and reamed the inside to resize the case and...

    New case trimmer

Yeah, it's a tiny pneumatic vise. The mill came from a friends work just learning the program that drives it. Tired of running it in air and thought it might get a laugh.

    Mig/Flux welder for DIY projects?

Only time I have ever hit the duty cycle on mine was welding continuious beads. 30% duty cycle is plenty for a lot of small jobs.

    Mig/Flux welder for DIY projects?

FWIW you would only want to run pure argon if you were going to weld aluminum and then you would also want to get a Teflon liner. For a shielding gas welding steel CO2, CO2/argon or tri mix gases are what you would use.
