    A steel top and some hammer tone was my first thought. I have some marine epoxy paint that is a two part mix that is the toughest stuff I have used but there are tons of paint choices out there.

    It is 3/4" box tube that makes up a 5" truss making it quite strong an still light enough I won't mess up the wood floor. The adjustable padded feet also help out. Couldn't fit all of the most used equipment on at one time so there is a bottom shelf to hold them and an air compressor a friend...

    The first run of the PLC controlled 1050 was a success. Along with the auto drive I added a PLC that controls the motor. There is an up and down limit switches that are on a clock so if the tool head doesn&#146;t reach either in the allotted time the timer times out and stops the motor, this...
