is the Olympic Arms K74UR upper any good?

Unless you have a mountain of 5.45x39, you won't save any money shooting 5.45 vs 5.56 And I've never met anyone who had a regular AR chambered in 5.45x39 or 7.62x39 that didn't have problems with the magazines. But it's a free country and so spend your money as you see fit.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Master Class in handgun shooting

You'd be amazed what you can get on a conventional unit's property book.

I like how you matched your magazine extensions with your water. Very classy!

Sidearms & Scatterguns Master Class in handgun shooting

I don't think Chen Lee is or professes to be an instructor of any kind. If my vague knowledge of online fuckery is correct, he's just a dude who buys a lot of guns and takes a bunch of classes. Physically comparing Stoeger and Vickers is beyond stupid. You're talking about a HUGE age...

    Rifle Scopes Scope Replacement Suggestions

You can snag an Aimpoint Creedo 1-6x24 or 2-10x36 for under $1k with a MIL/LE discount. I considered a Burris XTRII 2-10x42 for a precision AR build, but 28 ounces was a no-go for me. And what kinda ACOG are you getting rid of?

Sidearms & Scatterguns Shadow Systems MR920

Shadow Systems quoted me 14 weeks when I ordered. I got a shipping notification after 14 weeks and two days. Individual results may vary.

Not sure how the cutout helps check for rounds. The cutouts and recessed sides are supposed to reduce the reciprocating mass. $100 seems to be normal for that kind of machine work. Is it worth it? That’s up to you.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Agency Arms sale on M&P M2 match barrels

    A spiral-fluted, TiN barrel on a 50 would be the cat’s ass

The differences are all in the slide. The Elite has top serrations and cutouts on the sides.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Multi cut slides

Reducing the weight of the slide allows you to run lighter loads and springs. It's no different than running a lightweight BCG with a different spring/buffer combo in an AR. And just like running lightweight components in an AR, my concern with slide cuts are with reliably cycling factory ammo...

Personally, I'd get the Steiner because I don't like either reticle that Leica offers.

    What’s most comfortable hiking/shooting boot.

If you don’t need ankle support: Adidas Swift R2 has the most traction on slick surfaces of any shoe I’ve ever worn. They have a very cramped toe box. Due to the toe box of the Adidas, I’ve been using Altra Lone Peaks for several years. They’re not super durable but I also do a lot of trail...

    PRS Talk PRS for Dummies

"This is a sport, not a drill weekend." I don't know what ya'll do/did at drill weekends, but the hardest thing I ever did was drink cold coffee and sit through resiliency training! Good write up. I'll have to get out my banana hammock now that I know it's sanctioned.

Rifle Scopes EOTech Vudu 1-8x24 - Anybody looked at one or have experience?

Food for thought: if you're looking at pro deals, the Burris XTR II 1-8 is only a few bucks more and has proven to be a durable optic.
