    Ouch!! Squibs certainly happen and they can be expensive! Hopefully he's not physically hurt because guns and ammo can always be replaced, bodies not so much.

    I've read that they are decent for reliability (ammo dependent) but only mediocre for accuracy. I don't think it was ever intended to be a true accurate SPR. They certainly look nice and are not cheap. I'm waiting for more video reviews of the Rogue before I grab one.

    I would have given them a try but their height options are very limited and way way above what is needed. Good rings are no good if the scope is sitting a mile above the barrel.

    I think as previously said those are 1" rings. The caps shouldn't be touching the bases when measuring. I'll bet a rimfire scope will fit in there perfectly.

    Just got mine A brown one this last week. I'm mounting it on my Vudoo 22RF. The knobs have quite a nice positive click that is both audible and tactile feel to them during adjustment. Glass is exceptionally clear. Just ordered some Vortex matched set rings and should be ready for the range.

    Next big thing in sitting shooting position support ?

    I looked at those skinny 8mm legs and thought how painful that'd be when they buckled under the weight of my big ol' butt sitting on them. I can't see myself ever leaning back on them and feeling I can trust them entirely. Us bigger corn fed boys like something solid under us. Cool idea though.

    Avoid the newer MAgpul Bipod, it's flimsy way more than expected. I got it and was bitterly disappointed. I expected higher quality from them but they can't all be winners. I sent mine back.
