    Lapua Center X ES

I agree on the sensitivity. It doesn't need to be anywhere near max for rimfire. If anything, I found more errors when the sensitivity is too high. As as mentioned by straighshooter1, making sure the bayonet is correctly gapped to the bore using the alignment tool is also critical.

    Lapua Center X ES

Here's some notes from a range session back in February when I was shooting 300 and 400 with Lapua Center X. Kept the Magnetospeed on the chassis the entire time. Shots: 99 Avg: 1094 Min: 1065 Max: 1123 SD: 11 ES: 58

    Aperture sights on a Vudoo?

I have a Phoenix Precision rear sight for my Across the Course match rifle (Eliseo R5 build). Not sure if that company is still around, but it's a good sight. I have a Right Sight Front Sight, which I don't think is around anymore. You would need the muzzle end turned down to accommodate the clamp.

Vudoo V22 action vs Zermatt Arms RIMX

Yes, but the first half his his statement says, "i wonder if u get one mag with the barreled action?", thus the inference.

    Rimfire Targets

Before I even started running NRL22 matches, I bought the JC Steel Targets NRL22 target package for my own personal use. It's a bit of an investment for most people, but all these targets are very handy to have and they will basically last forever.

Vudoo V22 action vs Zermatt Arms RIMX

Unless my memory is wrong, I was told one mag included with the RIMX action. How did you get a barreled action? Is this the option provided by the dealer? I was told no barreled actions from ZAI.

Vudoo V22 action vs Zermatt Arms RIMX

At SHOT, I was told $125 for the magazines. They are billet aluminum and have built in adjustable mag catch points. It's cool in that the magazines can be adjusted to the rifle setup (e.g. varying chassis and/or bottom metal), but I would rather make the adjustment on the gun for the magazines.

As of current rules, correct, not legal.

    RPRR First NRL22 Match

I am the MD for the match venue in question. So the rimfire range in the facility we're using for the monthly NRL22 match has a less common logistical issue where the 65 yards and beyond target placement areas are at an incline (the rimfire range was designed for NRA Silhouette Smallbore). That...

Best way to get Lapua Center X.22lr in CA.

I get Lapua rimfire directly from Brunos, Creedmoor Sports, and Targetsports USA using C&R FFL plus CA COE. If you don't want to deal with C&R FFL + COE (you really should to be honest; it's easy to get them and even easier to renew), Ammo Bros is supposed to have Center-X.

What are your thoughts about NRL22 class delineation?

Sad that's how people respond with when we tell them we saw their banking information being sent out from their Android device unencrypted / in the clear to some random eastern European or African continent IP address.

What are your thoughts about NRL22 class delineation?

I'm all fine with people running Android, but the second I see their Android device on the enterprise network beaconing out to a botnet or to a nation-state APT group, I drop the ban hammer. Seriously, you'd be surprised by the amount of Android malware traffic we see on a large enterprise-level...

What barrel length do you use for NRL22?

20" MTU. My barrel is THICC.

What are your thoughts about NRL22 class delineation?

I still think the NRA Classification system (Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert, Master, High Master) is actually still a decent way to address grouping people in the same competitive skill level. I've read of people gaming the NRA classification system by tanking every other match to keep their...

    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

I use a Pro-Shot 20cal jag on a Pro-Shot 20cal rod. As people mentioned, 20cal (and 17cal) are 5-40 threaded. If you buy any 17cal or 20cal jag, it should be 5-40. Stick to 20cal jag and just find patches that work with that setup. I believe I am also using Pro-Shot patches. Butches...

    .22lr zero ???

I like 50. I used to do 25, but at 25 yards, .1MIL is just under one-tenth of an inch (0.09"). I feel like I get a better zero at 50 yards since I can track the POI in accordance with my adjustments a lot more consistently.

Vudoo owners, what scope you go with and why?

I went with the Kahles K525i SKMR3 LSW. The main reason is because I wanted to try a Kahles. I have noticed some chromatic aberration in a certain condition (white painted steel targets in early morning direct sunlight) and the lack of knurling or texture on the parallax ring can be an issue...

    BRN Barreled Action

I bought the BRN-22TR receiver only. Works great. I didn't get a non-OEM bolt so I can't say from personal experience, but all the folks with Brownells 10/22 receivers indicate they won't work with a lot of the non-Ruger bolts (won't fit).

    CZ 457 22LR Heavy Barrel

I thought 455 and 457 barrels are interchangeable. Or is this only with regards to aftermarket barrels that work with both (Lilja sells the same barrel for 455 and 457)?
