    I ended up buying a 3-20x50 h2cmr after all and love it. The MTC turrets I didn't care for when I got it, but in time have grown on me and I love them too. One of those things I never thought about till I had it, MTC is great for no-look dialing. Great scope.

So go as far as you can "down" all the way to the zero stop, then loosen the turret like you would to zero, and turn the turret "up" to about 8 mils and then tighteb the zero screws back down and voila, more down available without hitting the zero stop...

    Rifle Scopes Schmidt & Bender 5-25x56 get the locking turrets or non locking? MTC or no?

    I went from non locking turrets to locking MTC and didn't like them at first, but after about a week they grew on me and I LOVE them now. So much so that the availability of MTC will be a deciding factor for me in future scope purchases. It makes dialing elevation a true no-look operation.
