    Anyone have the new Steiner H6XI 5-30? Any good?

    I only have the 3-18 version, but I love it. The glass is better than the MK5 I used to have, comparable to my NX8, and not as good as my Zeiss LRP S3. Hope that helps.

    Don’t think so. I use the HMR reticle which I believe is only MOA. It’s amazing for hunting IMO/IME.

    Mine is absolutely amazing. Now, I have the HMR reticle and I use it for my hunting rig and at 3x mag it is basically a duplex which is simply amazing for northeast hunting. I cannot sing the praises of this optic enough for that role.

They replaced my 1st Mark5 5-25 due to tracking issues, the replacement had the dreaded turret misalignment and needed to go back for a new turret...

    My bolt hits the riser on my EH1-A long action as well. I use a Weibad cheek pad to get me the little more I needed. My nightstalker has a full length arca so I’m not sure what happened there. Would definitely call.

    I use the brand “DPP Titanium Adapter Plates”. It’s a brand that is on Amazon. The DPP doesn’t stand for delta point pro, it’s something else. They are amazing in my experience. I have them for various holosuns on my Glock MOSs.

    I use MTM cases. I write down the load info on tape like others above and also have my rounds numbered by sharpie just in case something gets out of order or gets dumped.

    I’ve polished my bolt ramp on mine and it seemed to help a little, but honestly the best thing I did to aide this process was to switch to a long dragon scale bolt knob from Anarchy Outdoors. That really smoothed everything out with better leveraging.

    NF NX8 would be my recommendation. Illumination will get you there in darker hours. I think Euro has demos for sale that will be in your price range if you don’t already get them through mil discount.
