    That's because it's not installed correctly in your photo. Try what three users have already suggested. Turn the action upside down, and insert the BDL mag box into the bottom of the action recess. You should have to pinch the rear to get it to seat tight, It'll be tight enough to hold itself...

    Try putting the mag box into the bottom of the action, then installing the stock over it. Hard to tell from the 3rd pic, but it appears the mag box isn't seated correctly. You should have to pinch the rear together to get it to seat into the action, the front semi-circle cutout should touch...

    I have the 4-16x50 Mil-C that I use on a .308 set-up for team matches as secondary shooter. I found it to be an awesome, more compact scope and goes well with a 16.5" .308 engaging targets from 300-700yds.

    The lightest setup (empty) I have been able to achieve on my AXSA is 13lb-9oz: AXSA, no bipod Proof 16.5" .308 barrel w/ APA LB brake NF ATACR 4-16x50 NF A357 mount with RAP It's ass heavy like this. I use a 20oz suppressor to balance the rifle, and tame the bark.

    It's even easier than all that. The lug sleeve pin on the RH side of the action is in the bore centerline. Pull off the center of it with a tape.
