Are DD Ross and Badger M40A3 style clip slotted bases unobtanium?

I spoke to Marty and he said the clip slot cut on the 40X isn’t the same as the M40 so I’d have to have it opened up. I’m not really interested in modifying this rifle like that so I’m just going to buy a standard Badger base for it.

Suppressors HUXWRX FLOW 556K vs FLOW 6K

I got the 556K because the 6K wasn’t available anywhere that I wanted to do business with. If the 6K had been available I would have gotten it for versatility. A .019” bigger hole makes a diddly fuck of a difference when shooting 5.56 and it gives you the ability to slap it on a 6ARC too.

    M24 Prototype up for grabs

Pretty cool piece of history here. They’re auctioning off an M24 prototype from the Remington archives. They’ll give you a letter of authenticity stating it came from the Remington archives as well if you ask. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1116450987

Pouring a 30"×40" concrete pad on top of concrete floor?

The plastic is a bad move, it’s going to do nothing but hold moisture against the bottom of the safe and potentially cause rust. The concrete is porous and will breath. Not to mention mention a sawzall will go through it like butter and all you’re doing is giving someone the perfect gap to...

Are DD Ross and Badger M40A3 style clip slotted bases unobtanium?

I bought a 40X that’s clip slotted and would like the slotted base to match. I only started looking today but not seeing any available. DD Ross appears to be MIA entirely. Anyone know where I might find one or how often Badger does runs?

Pouring a 30"×40" concrete pad on top of concrete floor?

They work, I just got tired of recharging them all the time. The damprids seem to pull way more moisture but last way longer than a recharge, and when it’s full I just throw it in the trash and hang up a new one. You can also empty the water and refill the pack but I just chuck them because I...

Pouring a 30"×40" concrete pad on top of concrete floor?

Damprids work as well if not better than a dehumidifier rod or canister for putting inside a safe and they have zero potential to start a fire inside of a safe where you don’t want a fire.

Pouring a 30"×40" concrete pad on top of concrete floor?

All of this, rebar in drilled holes won’t hold shit. You don’t need to tack it though, the concrete will bond to the anchors holding it down and the rebar/mesh is just to give the slab strength. If you want added strength get the stud kind of anchors and after you run the nut down to expand it...
