Rifle Scopes So, what about Leupold Mark 5 ?

The pin on top of the turret pops up on the third rev. The turret lock button is the second rev indicator. On the second rev, it sits flush with the turret.

Take a look at the new Vortex Razor HD LHT. It seems to offer most of the things you listed. MSRP is above your listed price, but I don't know what actual street price is going to be. Maybe contact one of the supporting Hide vendors to check pricing...

    Actions that accept Prefits

TL3- controlled round feed, mechanical ejection, interchangeable bolt heads. That being said, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. If the features of the TL3 don’t matter to you, just pick one.

    I did a thing...

With the TL3 you can swap the bolt head. I sent a standard for the Creedmoor and a Magnum for the PRC. I have a ton of reloading stuff for the creedmoor but also wanted to try a PRC, so that’s why the two barrels.

    I did a thing...

I did the same thing a couple months ago. I sent them a Bighorn TL3, Manners EH1, Krieger barrel, Hawkins bottom metal, and a Geiselle Super 700 trigger. They are doing the full build in 6.5 Creedmoor, and also providing a Bartlein barrel in 6.5 PRC. Assuming this Coronavirus doesn’t slow them...

I agree 100%. The Vyce is much more stable, and I like that it will close to a more narrow width than a hog saddle. I’ve had a few rifles the hog would not completely close on so it was useless.

Yes. The Vyce is very easy to tighten. I’ve had both and still have the vyce. I think it’s a step above a hog saddle in every way.

Short tripod story..... I got an AZ elk tag in 2017. I bought one of the lesser expensive carbon tripods. It seemed to work ok. I practiced a lot with it. 7 days before my elk hunt one of the leg locks broke. I immediately called RRS and ordered a new tripod and leveling base. The RRS is...

Hunting & Fishing Carbon fiber stock choices

I received a reply from them today. The stocks do come with an aluminum bedding block. There are 3 options for fitment of the block, which is what I wanted clarification on from Gunwerks. Option 1 is they glue the block in place before shipping the stock, and you just drop in your barreled...
