    Looking at this data makes me think Peterson and Lapua brass are tough as nails. We have pushed up till light ejector marks w no heavy bolt lift than backed down and worked a load.

    I have heard of guys using N565 also, I’m currently using N570 in my current barrel. I have H50 BMG for my spare barrel but have yet to work a load. H50 will give you better case fill than N570 but no issues getting low ES/SD w N570.

    Wow 10k, we just shot out to 2400 yards 2 weekends ago, I was able to compare my buddies TT 7-35 vs NF 7-35. TT glass had slightly better contrast at that distance but seemed to have a tighter eye box. I just can’t justify the almost double the cost for a slight increase in glass.

    Bushings I’m using is .314 and .310, depending if it’s the gen 1 or gen 2 brass.I use a Sinclair NT mandrel.

    Looks like Sherman has a revised reamer which may work better w the pre formed gen 2 brass now.

    If I measured correctly I’m at .300 freebore w a long action. It has been much easier to get low ES, SD w Bergers over Hornady A-Tips.     My accuracy load is 2925 fps w Berger 195. Usually holds .25 inch at 200 yards. Reach out to Stealhead. I think he uses those powders in 7 SAUM.

    I had the 190 A-tips up to 3049-3050 fps from a 26 inch. No signs of pressure w n570. I think I had the Berger 195 up to 3030 fps maybe more.. don’t have the notes in front of me. I don’t run any of my loads at max. I will take accuracy over velocity any day. I posted my original jam numbers...

    Correct, he uses the Kilo 10k and I use the Steiner 1535nm. The farthest field is 3900 yards to the wood line. Both w range the tree line w no issues. I have ranged a rooftop at 9215 yards in a light rain w the Steiners.

    I started using it years ago for non resident Iowa whitetail hunting. Love the “Thumper”…I usually grab the 450 BM or 45/70 for hunting the northeast. What can I say, I’m a believer in the KO factor. 🤣.
