    I have ran the BL 285 in a 1-7.5 w 0 issues. Shot them out to 2450 yards w back to back hits on a 24x24 inch plate. I doubt .5 inch twist is causing your issue. Try another solid for the hell of it after everything else cks out. Always ask for the barrel cookie after having a barrel spun up.

    Idk my seating it spot on, round to round is on the money when I measure CBTO. I’m currently out of of BL 285 to ck. My BL 285 load is 4.675 OAL.

    Always irrigate the heavy solids w a hose or in the sink w spray nozzle. If you’re in the field a bottle of alcohol will work. I always rinse a few times before cleaning.

    Wow, thats bad! When my scopes get real bad, i will rinse them in the sink w running water to get the heavy debris off. I have cleaned a few in the dishwasher, just use spot free rinse.

    I have to ck my notes but I don’t think I had signs of pressure till 120-121 gr N570 and backed it down 3-4 gr to work a load back up in the 33 XC. We have 2 other barrels we run 123-124.1 H50 BMG. We didn’t get signs of pressure till almost 126 gr which was a heavy compressed load.

    Save yourself some $, 300 PRC, 300 NM, 338 LM will get you to 2K no problem. 33XC if the wind is howling!
