Timney "Hit" trigger, or Triggertech "Special" for Remington 700?
Trigger Tech Specials are super easy to install and adjust and have worked well for me on all my rifles. Nothing against Timney but the TT has done me right and I have them in 95% of my rifles. Hope this helps.- RobertB

There is no difference. The flat tops are simply stocks we think people would want and we build them out but not inlet them. Hello sir, right now they are only available in the chassis version as that is part of the rail on the bottom. We may have some other versions in the future but right now we went with the chassis as most people seem to prefer that.- RobertB

so the knobs are accessories but definitely not mandatory. Mine still adjusts with Allen keys the rails come pre machines. The guy may be able to supply somethat match the length.
