    Stripped 2 coats dark walnut stain (hang drying) This is after 3rd coat of 400 grit rubbed in truoil, couple coats to go to get all the poors nice and filled (hang drying)

    Didn’t think about the spacers, but I was already thinking on cleaning up the stock, it’s smeared with some lacquer type finish I was debating on removing

    I agree, pretty lines and I love an old classic style gun. We were just teasing about it being gross. I’ve been around a gun or two enough to know this rifle is really quite beautiful, and built really well

    Had em for about three weeks, buddy does it on the side type of thing, he had to order the powder, then get around to doing it, then had to do the upper arm over cause he dropped it putting it in oven type of deal
