    I was chatting with my cerakote guy about this last week, he mentioned over the years he's gotten some colors from them that ended up nothing like what they were supposed to be. I'm guessing just a quality control issue.

    Once I have it all together and take it to the range I'll definitely report back. I have the ATX in 6.5CM to touch further out, and I'm building this one as a fun plinking rifle in .223/5.56. In the process of doing the same thing with a AR15 and AR10 combo.

    Purchased at the end of May, unboxed and assembled, don't have the original boxes. Intended to use it for a barreled action I ordered, but ended up purchasing a different chassis. Never used. Looking for $1000 shipped OBO.

    There's an operative word in there that's either a typo otherwise it makes it a moot point, they're not illegal firearms if they're procured legally while possessing a permit.

    Been testing out various types of factory ammo to see what the barrel likes, seems to be extraordinarily happy with 5.56 68gr BTHP Match Hornady Frontier. Ten round group at 50yds, not bad.
