    20mm at altitude goes a LONG way. And at that rate of fire, that's a lot of liability. One missle vs ~80 rounds. Besides, we foot the bill, so whatevs.

    The Rivet Joints were most definitely training sorties. TOPCT is the schoolhouse call sign. HOOVR is one of the ops squadrons, but they are both near a signals training range. I flew these in a previous life and have many many hours boring holes in the sky in that area.

    That's the beauty of my situation, really. I WANT to move but don't HAVE to. I've been watching a 65 acre tract for a while. Might go down the build road when the price gets right. Figure there's going to be plenty of builders needing work here soon.

    Mmmmm... you're making me salivate. These days I've been running more CAO Flathead 660s and Man O War Ruination 10th anniversary. Pretty good bang for the buck. And the embargo was probably the best thing that happened for the Nicaraguans.
