    That’s funny, as last month I moved my 1-8 NX8 from my 15.1” RECCe onto my light barrel URGI and dropped to a 5.56RC2 from a 7.62 RC2. It’s like 3# lighter than my Socom barrel URGI with G3 Vortex :)

    This may sound obvious, but change to a known good optic/mount. I’ve seen this and it was a lens changing parallax that had to be repaired. And if you haven’t, scope the throat for a carbon ring.

    How much headspace do you have between new brass and the fired cases? I wonder if it’s still expanding during primary extraction. @alamo5000 touched in this with buffer weight, but I’d be curious if you have a generous chamber.

    I’m hoping CFE or Leverevo works as Allient powders have gone to ludicrous prices. If I need to step bullet weight down into the 90s to balance performance out to 800 yards or so, so be it. I just shoot 107s in my Dashers so it’s easy to buy bulk.
