If you buy beef by the percentage of how much cow it encompasses, I have some questions...

I've got both because I got in a bind this fall when I shot a Moose and needed a freezer asap. I've been good with the chest so far since it's only moose, I separated it the roasts in one corner, steaks in another, ground in one and sausage in the last. I'll probably end up with another freezer...

If you buy beef by the percentage of how much cow it encompasses, I have some questions...

    1) Yes it's worth it, I'd recommend a half. 2) A half will take up the majority of a 15 cu/ft stand up. (500lbs-ish). Chest freezer can store much more for the size but is harder to keep organized. 3) Yes I've done it several times. 4) There's no right answer here it's mostly preference. If you...

    37xc Die set question

I know a few people that use the dies from Tubb and are all happy. I do see forester offers a set, personally I'd get which ever I could get faster

    Thank You SIG.

Go figure you have a controversial opinion. I've only played with the Vector X in a store. Complaints, buttons are not very friendly to push (maybe get used to it). Display is blinding bright and allegedly not adjustable. Glass seems about equivalent, others seem to report the ranging...

    Thank You SIG.

I have crappy eyes and differentiating between glass quality is basically impossible for me unless it's like Tasco vs ZCO, but I did kind of grow fond of the blue tint, I'm sure I'll get used to this tho. :p Meh IDGAF, maybe they don't have parts for gen 1 laying around anymore.

    Thank You SIG.

I sent in a set of SIG 10K Gen 1 bino's because the DOF wouldn't send to my Kestrel. Well I got a package back this morning and instead of repairing mine they sent me a brand new set of 10K Gen 2's I'm super pumped about the free upgrade and would like to say thanks for the great service.

    Kestrel Meters Ballistics Official Thread

Quick wind is basically the same as what frank does with gun MPH. It's a way to help you memorize some wind holds then you can adjust off there. Frank uses 600 yards, Hodnett uses 500. so if I know at 6mph my wind hold @ 600 yards is .6 then I can say 12mph is roughly 1.2. or come into 300...

Looking for recommendations for a long range scope

    Best 6GT dies?

Pretty sure lots of guys are running a similar load in PRS to make a 6 creed shoot similar to a Dasher

How much shoulder bump is unsafe

Jam the bullets and shoot 'em. . 020" is probably not enough to have a case head separate completely but will probably start to crack if you don't jam the bullets

    First Time Shooting ELR

If you're just out there having fun and hoping to hit steel allowing a group to form and then chasing the center of it works well but if you are shooting matches and trying to win you can't afford that and basically have to chase the miss, you can be a little conservative on corrections if you...

    First Time Shooting ELR

I just assumed it was handloads. There's almost no sense even bothering with that big of ES. With a spread like that, at that distance you're looking over a mil of elevation , I'm not sure how big your target is but that's bigger than most targets I've ever seen. You will have an insanely hard...

Self-proclaimed Pit Masters of SH- I've got some questions

if it weren't for pellet smokers I'd have to greatly reduce the amount of smoked meat I eat. So easy to just throw it on in the morning and forget about it until after work.

Ya gusting or shifting winds will make it harder

    First Time Shooting ELR

Ya true your DSF in the subsonic area then. Be aware that wind will affect your elevation, so make sure your kestrel wind hold matches to the actual shot before you true your DSF.

    First Time Shooting ELR

what bullet are you shooting? what distance is it going subsonic? The only way to really tell what the wind is doing between you and the target is base it off where the last bullet went. Headwinds and tail winds cause insane hold changes at ELR distances. At KRG match they had a target at 2500...

    First Time Shooting ELR

That CDF is pretty new. My understanding is CDF should be used to true supersonic and DSF is for subsonic. I had a chance to true DSF about a month ago, my data was good out to about 2400 then it seemed to fall apart. With 400gr CE Lazers I had over 1mil of discrepancy at 3000 Yards
