    Craddock RTR

This is where I'm at as well, but I've also paid for the top shelf stuff to discover that doesn't mean you get a half minute barrel with factory ammo. This Craddock has performed nearly as well as any other large frame gas gun I've shot with the exception of a couple Knight's rifles and one...

Berger loaded 130s. They used to load them hotter but were popping primers.

    Craddock RTR

I’ve been happy with it. It’s a relatively lightweight, inexpensive 6.5 creed barrel. My SR25s outshoot it but they are several times more expensive than what it cost to put together this upper. I run it with a KAC PRT suppressor and it’s been extremely reliable.

    Craddock RTR

All 5-shot groups at 100/200 meters. Have a handful of 10-shot groups and they are what you'd expect (about 1.2x the size of the 5-shot groups). Hornady 140 will show promise with one tiny group and then shit the bed. Berger 130's have been extremely consistent and are my go-to. Factory Berger...

AT-XC bolts are not compatible with AT/AW bolts

I went back and looked at the emails and at one point Mile High said "I do not think we have the parts or the permission to fix it.". This was an AT-X that I purchased with the additional folding hardware, which Mile High had installed prior to shipment. It was very frustrating when it came out...

AT-XC bolts are not compatible with AT/AW bolts

Not to dog pile but I had a brand new AT-X show up with a broken stock retaining nipple (the little plastic piece). AINA and Mile High both told me to talk to the other party, a month later and finally Mile High got me the part I needed but made it sound like they were doing me a favor by...

For the Love of God, GI Joe and John Wayne.... cleaning and abrasive cleaners

I’ve stored my barrels with a single patch of oil through them for the past 20 years. I have never dry patched prior to shooting. Zero corrosion or damage or even flyers to report.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Quick range report regarding POI shift; Earlier there was some commentary regarding a POI shift based on front support/bipod location. There is an ongoing thread in the Semi-Auto sub-forum where folks are talking about this and testing it for themselves. I am using a recent production MK22...

Norma 230gr and Berger 215gr factory ammo. All 5 shot groups, bottom left group has a low/right sighter from my unsuppressed zero. All groups shot with the AML338 can.

Nightforce Ultramount does not sit parallel to Upper

He said it's a 20 MOA mount, so we're not talking about a set of rings. The ultramounts are engraved with the torque spec; and 100 in/lbs is correct for the 1/2" cross bolts. I would take photos of the install and contact NF. Their customer service is excellent.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

I suspect Barrett will swap you for the updated chassis which, as far as I know, addresses the issue entirely. Good luck, I hope it's a painless process.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

In that case it just simply predates the updated chassis. Congrats, as I believe you're the first civilian that I have heard of encountering this issue 😂 Out of curiousity, how many times would you say you swapped the barrel?

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

LOL good timing. That looks to be a non-dimpled chassis? Barrett should take care of it no questions asked.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Sounds like you know more than the average bear. The ammo issue could be a bullet issue or they just selected too "hotrod" of a cartridge for what the Army does with their stuff. Either way that one needs to be addressed as well, but it doesn't really fall on Barrett. Regardless, let's hope they...

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Didn't mean to rile you up, and there are certainly some things that will have to be remedied. I think it’s like any new weapon fielding. The testing before they’re issued is never going to catch all the problems that arise when they’re actually in guys hands.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

You say the issues have been observed, but then state that not a thing was done to fix it. Yet, Barrett revised the chassis and issued new receivers, did they not? Why would you think that they would tackle that issue head on and ignore others? As for the "blowing up bullets", Frank at Bartlein...

This response is promising. Time will tell, but I suspect this issue gets addressed.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Barrett already remedied the chassis issues, so there is no reason to think they would not also respond to this trigger issue (assuming it's substantiated). Again, these types of things are likely only being exposed because of the number of rifles entering service and the nature of the use they...

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Absolutely, I think we're on the same page. I just felt it's necessary to point out that even the most rigorous T&E program will let issues like this slip through the cracks. There is no such thing as being able to "perfect" your design without deploying hundreds or thousands of a given weapon...
