First training rifle? CZ457? Which optic?

If you want higher power and you want to keep PPF, the price goes WAY up from here. The NF 7-35 is an option and is highly respected in this realm, but you are also looking at amidst $3k. I had a S&B 12-50 FFP, which is in the same ballpark as the NF. I personally didn’t feel like it was worth...

First training rifle? CZ457? Which optic?

If I were recommending scopes in the same price range and similar magnification... The Vortex Razer is of a similar quality, but the side focus doesn’t go as low, and even used, it isn’t as inexpensive as the Athlon. The Delta Stryker and Trijicon Accupower are both very similar to the Cronus...

Hey E. If all you are doing is shooting paper at a few known distances, there is no reason not to go ahead and use an SIII on your Vudoo. I think the SFP High mag scopes are made for that. I actually prefer them for that. You have to remember that this site is very FFP, tactical style match...

    Rimfire Rifle Photos Thread

Harrel’s. It was a bench rifle and was able to win some comps, so I would say it helped. I haven’t been able to bring myself to remove it yet, even though I am moving it away from the bench. It is still a great shooter and will be fine without it, but you need ever it you can get on the bench.

Decided to add another CZ to the list. Finally got the scope on it after getting the stock back from Manners with the new paint job.

You have some nice rifles there. We like shooting aspirin too. That is what I grew up shooting at. My uncle and I still do. When I sold my Vudoo, I started off cheap with a Marauder and a pump and a small Guppy tank. Upgraded a few times to my Red Wolf and Daystate compressor, and then it hit...

That being said, that Vudoo is one of very few rifles I've ever regretted selling, and the Vudoo is the only one I regret selling because I knew I might not ever be that happy again. I have strongly considered buying another, but I have been able to talk myself out for now because I have been...

Funny you ask that with your name... I just had too much money tied up in it and wasn't competing and was getting heavily into airguns instead. Unfortunately, it cost me MUCH more money in airguns. The Vudoo was and is still the best of any rifle I've ever shot. I have made shots with it I've...

I went with the Triggertech Diamond, and I was very glad I did. So easy to adjust with one screw without taking the rifle apart. And a wonderful break. Loved being able to take it down to light pull and it turned out amazing. I will happily purchase another.

First training rifle? CZ457? Which optic?

A 22lr shot is hard to see at 100-200yds, I think you will be left wanting with a 1-5x scope. I always suggest the most mag you can get, but it doesn't mean you have to use it all the time. It is a lot easier to shoot it, when you can see the target, but more importantly, see where you are...

Wolf vs Lapua 22lr ammo test.

First of all... Great Shooting! Threads like this are great for the reason that it helps people understand that they need to try different ammo in their own rifles. I think it is also helpful, to show people that you can use different ammo in the same rifle and swap out depending on your needs...
