Actually most of them come by and tell me how pretty my slabs look. I try to only run the saw 15-20 min a time 2-3 hours a day when most people would be at work or on weekends when you expect a lot of yard work noise. I’ll go first. Hopefully I’ll be the only one but I doubt it. Got the axe today at 5. After 2 years at this job no issues or complaints all I got was a “sorry man upper mgmt said cut the budget x amount” this is a fortune 100 company, project mgmt type job. Anybody else?- HSNARC

Getting much better at hand filing these days, but the standard stihl and Oregon files leave much to be desired in terms of finish. When you see figured blanks online selling for 600-1500$ is that because their pieces of wood are dried to correct moisture content and basically have no risk of checking and cracking after you buy?
