I just read that the hinds exhaust design that spat it out to the side well away from the rotor wash is part of what made it more succeptible to heat seekers.
That makes sense. From what I've read just about every Russian piece of hardware was a modified something else. Also speaking of modified helicopters, airwolf is a commercial helo with so much stuff tacked on it became almost too heavy.
I liked it in Red Dawn, Rambo: First Blood Part 2, and Rambo III, which really should've been named Rambo 2: First Blood Part 3.

The range is 200 yards and my plan is to post a drawing with distances to the targets. And at the far end I'll have paper set up at 50 and 100 for confirming zeros, so we'll at least be in the ballpark on most of the steel.
I'm looking to start a barricade/prop training event at my local range. My intent is to line up tank traps and other props and steel at various ranges and run it as a hot range so people can shoot from wherever they want. It needs to be viable for all experience levels so my biggest questions...
