Sorry, was this meant for me? If so, I'm actually at cbto ≈ 2.266" with the 185 jugs. Not sure where that puts me for OAL but it is certainly longer than 2.80"

I tried some standard rem 9 1/2s per your recommendation to move away from 2nds. I did however keep the pulled jugs since they shot so good. I also made sure to sort by base to Ogive and used all the ones that measured out the same. It appears I got worse results. Also, while appearing well...

Those, coupled with the hybrid cases and a 9 twist long 308 barrel should make for a fun experiment.

Looking good. I'm thinking about re-barreling mine.

I do use a bronze brush. I think this last soak from last night until right now helped getting some of it off. I've been having clickers and poor accuracy. After speaking to a few members here, one very knowledgeable member has advised me it might be a pressure issue. So just to eliminate one...

    6.5 Creedmoor

Anybody have any tips on getting this carbon ring off. Rifle is right at 399 rounds with one cleaning in between. I don't remember how many rounds when I first cleaned it. I've left a patch soaking overnight multiple times already and no luck. I've been using boretech eliminator.

The 123 smk has a really good BC too but I don't recall it's value or where it sits on that list. Today I shot some 130 AR Hybrids on the grendel since I use them on creedmoor and thought about trying them out. In my creedmoor, they've been awesome.

Maybe the grendel guys run them. I shoot grendel too but I use the 107 smk.

Or 4x 5 shot groups. I just don't think one 5 shot group is indicative of how that brass/load will perform. Remember, once he mixes those 2 lots, he'll never be able to tell them apart. If his groups start to open up or have random fliers, he might be questioning his decision to mix them. At...

    6.5 Creedmoor

Hey all, What should I expect for MV out of a 24" with 144 bergers and h4350? I'm gonna start fresh and try to see if I can find a load that shoots. I don't want to push these too hard or be near max pressure, just something decent and comfortable.

    6.5 Creedmoor

I just made a thread about this maybe a month ago. I didn't count, but I think I had about an even split on replies. I would say try 20 shot groups with each to determine.

    6.5 Grendel

Would you be willing to try n540 on grendel and sharing results? I've always thought it or n530 might work but don't have some. I did buy some benchmark to try with 123 class bullets and 107s since I also thought benchmark was another potential powder good for grendel. I've had good speeds...

Going over my notes, I've been able to load varget and tac into the 30s as well. I've loaded blc2 to 29.9. I remember varger was for sure compressed.

    VV powders & temp stability

Are you guys shooting VV powders able to confirm if 100 series are stick powders and 500 series are ball? If so, it may just be that the 500s in general will be sensitive and 100s will be more stable. Obviously this is all speculation on my part.

    .308 Winchester

Being that this is the 308 thread, I didn't care much about posting details on the 6.5 lol. But since there is some interest, it's a 6.5 CM. I'll keep that in mind and try next time. Thank you
