    Buy the Berger ammunition loaded with 135 classics. They shoot great and you will have a supply of once fired lapua brass to reload. Bergers are a big game hammer. My 6.5 lapua loves that 135 as well.

    Considering it will last 40 plus years, I'd go ahead and buy whereever I saw it and risk having a bit more than you want. I did grab a pound of IMR4166 to try. Supposed to be very close to varget.

    I switched after 30 years and followed my dominant eye. Shooting better than ever now. And can keep both eyes open behind the scope. I have struggled making the shotgun switch. Shooting archery became much easier shooting with dominant eye vs dominant hand. In the end, do whatever works for you...

    Rifle Scopes Looking for a new scope for 6.5x47

    Got one 6.5x47 chunk wearing a 5.5-22x50 nxs with mil-r, very nice for $1350 used. And my other which is a bit lighter has an Atacr 4-16, like new for $1800. Keep an eye open on the classifieds and score a used night force. Love them on my Lapuas. This if you don't go new from CSTactical.

    yep UL7. IMR4451 for the 140. Good results with Varget and 135 bergers also. These both in the Lapua.

    Rifle shooting it seems I can use either pretty well. My progressive lenses give me heck shotgunning though and I kill far more birds when I wear contacts.

    Suppressors TBAC suppressor

    I'd certainly go Dominus between those two if going on a hunting rig. Someone mentioned pinpoint accuracy. Shot this group with my 19" barreled 6.5x47 with a UL7 on it Saturday. This was 3 at 1000 yards. At 100 it shoots 5 under .3". The Dominus sounds even better.

    6.5x47 Lapua

    37.7 gr Varget, 135 berger classic, 19" barrel, chrono'd today at 2670 fps. Plugged it into jbm, dialed up and shot a 2.9" group at 1000. Great shooting conditions today, but quite happy with it. Buddy gave me 2 pounds of varget, so have enough to load up for this fall's hunts and a bit more...

    Seeing a lot of NXS 5.5-22x50 scopes in the $1300 range. Could also do a SHV F1 for around $950 used. Been buying a few used Nightforce scopes and very happy with them.
