Especially if you have a long barrel might as well use varget and N140.
I keep my N540 for my hunting 223 because it yields a bit more speed but it’s not temp stable and you can see the velocity rising if you do long shooting strings on hot days.
I agree, the SMK80 bullet is just as consistent and easy to tune as the Berger 80.5 but for me it was harder to get in stock meanwhile you can easily get couple of K of 80.5 same lot.
I used to fly fixed wing air ambulance equipped with FLIR and we almost never used it. They’re fine for recon but it’s not something you’d want to use to aviate.
I didn’t know jack shit at 450 hours and when I flew with newbies that had 450 hours, no matter how “sharp” they were, they didn’t know jack shit either.
That's been my opposite experience on my DTA with a 7.7tw barrel. The 75s were less picky than the 80s ELD-M.
Of course all these problems went away when I switched to the Berger 80.5, the true patrician 224 bullet.
Actually her family said she was depressed. She was also going through divorce and a bunch of other things … If they wanted to disappear her they would have done so in the late 90s/early 2000s. It’s not like she was a threat and it’s not like any Epstein customers has ever faced the wall.
For those interested that can't find the HRD kit anymore
I found this guy who made a printed version of the HRD and I tried it and so far it does works, even with a grendel/arc case ...
