Pics of brass taken today from my MARS-H, 16” SS barrel, SureFire SOCOM suppressor.
100% factory configuration, 100% reliable.
All brass landed 10-15 feet from the gun.
Not overgassed.
I’m in the market for a new pickup. Hopefully he does a video where he takes a new Chevy, Ford and Dodge, starts them up and drops a brick on the gas pedal. Obviously, the one that blows up last will be the best truck.
Sold. Selling my PTS736.
Serious long range performer. Works perfectly, it’s just overkill for where I live.
Comes with the factory case. Takes 2 CR123 batteries. Also includes a USB rechargeable aux battery.
$1900 shipped. Prefer Venmo. Can take PP or USPS money order.
Will consider trades +/-...
I haven’t used the Fiocchi load, but I use the Federal LE13200 9 pellet 00 buck almost exclusively.
It’s 1150 fps, so equivalent to the Fiocchi.
Mine has run 100% from round 1 with no break in.
You could call Aimpoint and inquire, but I doubt that they would be able to service something that old.
I would just pick up a new Micro, T2 or whatever flavor you prefer.
They are bombproo.
So is there a difference between Ion Bond and other DLC?
Fusion charges about 50% more to do a 1911 than DNA does.
I don’t mind paying a couple hundred more if I am getting a better product.
I find that putting the barrel in a vertical orientation when installing the SureFire MD helps keep the shims lined up and prevents bending them.
No experience with Keymo.
Anyone else at your dept. having this issue?
Have you used other 5.56 without a problem?
There was a point, years ago, that Bushmaster was putting.223 chambers in their barrels and marking them 5.56.
None. Guns are both exactly as they left the factory with the exception of Geissele triggers.
Ejection is completely normal. About 3:00. Brass lands a few feet from the gun.
I’ve posted a couple times in this thread, but it is 106 pages now.
I run a 762RC on a MARS H with a 16” stainless barrel and a MWS with a 16” CL barrel.
Both guns run 100% with the suppressor mounted, smooth and don’t beat up the brass.
I’ve got a Knight’s SR-15 Mod 2 with the dual ejector 3.2 bolt.
It is 100% reliable. Just like all of my AR’s with single ejectors.
No experience with KAK. I know nothing about them.
I would be more concerned with having a bolt made with the correct materials and processes from a quality...
Both sold.
