    Quite possible there is no powder in case. Primer probably went off, just no propellant to ignite. Get a weight of that case with "fired" primer vs another round of that ammo, should be 40-42ish grain difference.

    Ahhhh….got it. I’ll find the Timney 2 stage I have and get some pictures of what probably needs adjustment. Much easier to do with pictures. Do you hold trigger back through the BCG cycling?

    I’ve seen 9 twist bbl on factory Rem 700 (SPS Tactical, LTR, 5R, PSS) but not an 8 twist. SPS Varmint model has historically come with a 12 twist bbl. Do you have factory box with 8 twist noted or scroll mark on bbl? If Remington started doing 8 twist bbl for 223, that would be awesome news.

    LWRC six8 upper/lower and Pmag six8 mags would be looking at for the 6mm ARC build. Grendel / SPC mags for "standard" receivers seem to be a bit less reliable than Pmags designed for the larger body diameter.
