I think an Accurate mag is AICS compatible. I have a 223 built on a Remington action with a 1:7 twist barrel. I am using Accurate mags. The follower can easily be trimmed to allow for longer COAL. I'm shooting Berger 80.5 FBT, but I do have a box of 85.5 that I am going to try.

I have the 419 adaptor. On their 419 rail it either wouldn't stay tight or slipped up on the tooth of the rail and then you couldn't get it loose. I changed mine to a ADM. It is similar to the RRS. Works much better.

I got a MOST series match to shoot Saturday. Checked zero & velocity. 6 shots, cold bore, ammo loaded on 2 different dates, results look fine. As usual, the trigger puller will be the weak link.
This was about 5 years ago. I don't remember what kind of base he had on it. I wondered about that when Jbuck commented. Most bases can't be installed backward, but some can.
Yes I guess the base should have made the impacts high. I remember the guy had a NcStar scope. With the elevation all the way up he was still hitting the dirt.
