    People like to dog on the NX8, and I thinks it's mostly Internet echo chamber. The turrets aren't super crisp, but all else seems to be fine, or works like a $2k MSRP optic, especially the 4-32. Don't expect atacr performance at sub ATACR prices, and you'll be plenty happy with it.

    I cut it down to fit in the pocket under my cheek and not get in the way with my ear pro when squared up on the gun. Not advised for Magnums.

    Adding a few: Maven RS.4 Burris XTR Pro (eurooptic for $2k) US Optics B-17 (eurooptic prices are ~$2k) or DeathBeforeDismount is apparently offering a free US Optics 50% cert - brings the FDN 17X down to $1400 or 25X down to $1900 Zeiss S3 if you can stretch a couple hundred bucks
