We definitely should have said no-go gauge. We all learn a lot on the first release of products. Thanks - Ray

    Bighorn Origin LA, SA question

Origin short action, Origin long action and TL3/SR3 long action barrel tenons are all the same. The TL3/SR3 short action is the only different tenon. Using a TL3/SR3 long action barrel on an Origin action is totally safe, but the engraving (if a pre-fit) will be 180* off as the thread start is...

We will not be releasing any rifles in any caliber. The WSM is pending firing pin springs right now. All of the other components are on hand for when that final part is here. We'll go back to the front of the line on all of our orders to ship those first and work through our backlog. If you'd...

You can run either or. If you're going to run a longer OAL, get them without the binder plate. Thank you - Ray

It should fit and function just fine, but the ejection port window on the stock will be smaller than the action's ejection port. A very simple fix that's able to be done by hand. Thanks - Ray

Zermatt Rim X failure to fire

Throw some grease in the shroud underneath the cocking piece while it's in the cocked position. You may just be experiencing some drag between the pin and the spring.

Don't use snap caps. You will not get the results you need. You can very easily remove the firing pin tip and use live ammo to test. Here's a quick video on how to disassemble and reassemble the bolt of the RimX: Thank you - Ray

That's more than likely a result of the tensioner making contact with the case body. Pop that out and stone the bottom corner of that part away. .010 - .015" should be enough so roughly 2 passes on a medium stone. Thank you - Ray

Great information here, Dennis. For a point of reference, we have started to stone that bottom edge of the tensioner slightly during assembly. We've had fewer calls and emails regarding the issue this is related to so I think it's a solid fix for any issues. I'll keep my eyes open for more...

We'll do our best to help everyone if they encounter a problem. The truth of the matter is relatively easy for me to address: with as many of these products as we have out in the wild compared to the number of issues that have been sent to us, we don't have a product problem. That means, we've...

If you have an action on order through any dealer today (including KA), you are best off to wait it out for that order. Cancelling for a potential in stock somewhere else will likely land you with an even longer lead time. In the future, you can always check with any of our stocking dealers for...

The reason they show in stock is that they always have multiple orders in the queue and it fell in front of yours. We always process orders first in, first out. We're working as fast as we can on these actions and will get them out as soon as we have them. For future reference, it's always...

Anyone run a TL3 in AICS?

Call Mile High and talk with those guys. They know the AI chassis systems very well and also carry our products. They should be able to give some guidance on what is needed for fitment. Thanks - Ray

I'm not 100% sure on their specs but a quick phone call up there and you'll get the answers you need. Be sure to tell them it's a rimfire barrel. Thanks - Ray

It varies based on the manufacturers recommendation. If they don't provide one, 35-55 ft-lbs is plenty. Thank you - Ray
