    Bow string

It's easy. Press required, measure you axle to axle before you start Press down just far enough to get the string and cables off. New string and cables will be optimally twisted. So don't add or take out twists while your changing them. Being the first time doing it, one at a time to...

    Bow string

There is going to be some mis alignment there as the bus cables are going to run through the guide that pulls them to the side a bit. Serving dried and broke down. It's not worth reserving a string that old. 14 years replace them before they decide to randomly come apart. I had my 2000...

    Question for Dirtbike Riders

One of the top ones of my list. If Yamaha would update the bike with electric start, better lighting capability, and maybe fuel injection it would be the second right behind the Sherco.

    Question for Dirtbike Riders

I'm leaning to getting the YZ250x which is the two stroke woods bike. The difference between the motocross and woods version is the power valve timing is different, engine tuning, suspension, and gearing is setup for the woods. I have run across new ones at the end of the model year for $7k...

    Question for Dirtbike Riders

I didn't let my kid hardly do anything till he could work the clutch. We would do 10-15 minutes of clutch drills at the beginning of a ride, now it's all second hand to him.

    Question for Dirtbike Riders

I'm getting my 12 year old a YZ85LW. Were going to gear it down a little, put the heavy flywheel weight on it, and shim the power valve to have it come on the pipe a bit later. We might do the smart carb and tuning. The Husky 85 was the close second, we have a good local Yamaha dealer. The...

I have always wanted one of the Pinion drive train bikes with the gearbox. Now that they have an integrated Ebike drive maybe I'll get one in a year or two. I know a guy that has a short travel bike with one and he loves it. Says there is a bit of loss in the drive, but zero maintenance. His...

Rotating shift work - Good, bad, & ugly

I have done it. I do not do well on it, at the time I had two younger kids in the house and were trying to make games and dance.... Staying strict on your routine is critical. I had to work out pre shift as I was pretty much worthless afterwords. I managed to escape shift work and went to...

I have a Guerrilla Gravity hard tail with a Manitou Mattoc that I am planning on using for a gravel bike. I need to service the fork and do some odds and ends to it. The full suspension short travel would be nice. If I am riding enough gravel I'll eventually go to that. We should have some...

I need to find some gravel routes out here and get the gravelish bike together. 5 miles in the dirt was enough today.... We kinda drove through your area on the way to Alpina last week. I could imagine some challenging routes out there.

Soon! Almost all the AR trails stay open in the rain, some clay capped ones don't hold up to the wet, most of the natural trails are all weather. During freeze/thaw is about the only time the trails are really closed.

Old ass linemen always told me. Ask yourself what could happen before you do something Everytime it is something sketchy.

Figures a nice range will be less than 30 minutes from the house and I'm moving out of the area. Jeremy runs a good range and matches.
