    When it gets hot, scent control is pretty much a moot point. It’s all about playing the wind. I’ve had a lot more luck walking between multiple spots and roaming around vs sitting in one place. They seem to show up randomly where I hunt.

    That shouldn’t be an issue. The only thing you need additional on the gun is an ir light/laser. For the distances you are talking about you can get a pretty compact unit that doesn’t break the bank. Run a dual band system on a helmet for both the NV and thermal.
