    The average .22 pellet shooter is slinging a 16-18gr pellet at around 900 fps(28ftlb of energy) vs 40gr at 1100(107ftlb) for a rimfire. One of my favorite .22 pcp’s is shooting a 14gr at 650, still drops a squirrel at 30 yards. Not sure if any of that info helps.

    We only drove nails with them after mounting, a hammer has to have a handle…

    We didn’t carry a rear sight though. I’m pretty sure I remember at least one fogging up inside.

    In ‘07 it was A2’s with open sights. We had A4’s and M4’s with ACOGs when we hit the fleet.

    This was posted on another forum, just wondering if there is any truth to it? "The old school - turning of the elevation adjustment for longer shots changes the parallax of a properly adjusted parallax in an optically centered scope."
