    Auto Trickler V3 problem

Re the buzzing, you probably have a cable going bad. Buy some spares and swap the current one out. Those little wires get broken, esp[ecially if you are moving the unit/components.

    Sako TRG22A1 6.5CM

What is the trigger pull weight range? I like the old TRG trigger a lot, I just wish it would reliably adjust to a lower weight.

Rimx build glass help, 2500$ budget

I like the Nightforce NX8 4-32. Of your list of features, I would say that the ones you might find lacking are eyebox and depth of field, but if you go with a 30mm tube and 50mm objective you won’t get many better options for those.

    RimX Go NoGo?

If the barrel was done properly, and you are using the correct bolt head, you shouldn’t need to, but it never hurts to check.

    Sorry, no experience with Superperformance.

    6.5 PRC with 123gr ELD-M / 124gr Hammer Hunter

I worked up a load of 58.6 H1000 for 123gn solids, ~3150fps in a 26" barrel, ADG brass, BR2 primers. H1000 is usable but on the slow side for the lighter projectiles.

    Resurrecting Cutting Edge Bullets 32Grn

I shoot the 32gn with 2.2gn Longshot, around 1400fps, around 1 MOA at 50 yds, 1.5MOA at 100 yards. I also tried VV 3n37 but got better results with Longshot. There’s probably room for improvement, but I set this rifle up for small game hunting and reached the “good enough” level so I haven’t...

    144 Berger LR hybrid vs 147 eld-m

I think 1:8 twist is pretty marginal for the 156. But I agree, you should shoot what works best in your setup. All other things being equal, higher BC is better, but only if it shoots well.

    144 Berger LR hybrid vs 147 eld-m

I was shooting the A-Tips ~2980 out of a 1:7 twist barrel. Hornady said they were spinning too fast, my barrel was too worn, the throat was too rough etc, lots of reasons why it was my fault. I shoot the Berger 153.5 at ~3030 and have never had a problem.

    144 Berger LR hybrid vs 147 eld-m

The 153 A-Tips shot really well for me, but I started getting about a 10% failure rate (they would blow up before getting to the target). I never had any problems with the Bergers.

    144 Berger LR hybrid vs 147 eld-m

I only shoot to 1000, but I have had great results with the Berger 153.5 LRH. The 144 LRH also shot well, but the extra BC from the heavier bullet is a benefit.

    New Hornady 109gr 6mm ELD-M

Since you quoted my post, I’ll reply. I had no stability issues with the 109ELD at 600-1000yds. But I use the A-Tips after 600 yards because they have better BC. The 109ELDs shoot fine for me out to 1000yds, but the ATips shoot better. Again, this is in a 1:7.25 twist barrel, and it is a 6...

    Beger VLD Jump?

I think the only way to know for sure is to try it. I have shot the 6.5mm VLDs at .150 in one rifle and they hammered. I’ve also shot them at jam, .020 and .050 in different barrels with great results.

RimX vertical stringing from Lapua test center lot testing

It was a while ago, but when I sent my RimX with a Krieger barrel to the Lapua test center, I asked how it did relative to other rifles they were seeing. I was told it was better than average, but he also volunteered that a lot of people with RimX actions were using Proof barrels and that in...

Do the pros use stainless steel pin/wet tumble or Dry Tumble?

From my perspective, the disadvantages are that it is more work than some other methods, the brass needs to be rinsed and dried, sometimes pins get stuck in the case necks (depends on caliber) and the necks need to be lubed because they are too sticky because they are so clean. Having said...
