NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Unless you really like fiddle fucking around with firing pin fall, swapping triggers, extraction issues, chamber issues with builders that don't know fuck about 22s. Stick with a proven rig from the likes of Primal rights, Lee Gardner, or someone who understands 22 chambers and the RimX in...

Rifle Scopes First Nightforce Purchase - any advise or pointers?

I'm a Niteforce fan boy. Have 5x25, 7X35 ATACRs and a nx8 4x32. My experience comparing them is the 7x35 has a bit better glass than the 5x25. Both have better glass than the nx8. The nx8 4x32 is on my AR because of its size. Perfect for it's intended use. All have better glass than my gen2...

    Rifle Scopes Nightforce Customer Service

My experience with niteforce years ago was horrible. My buddy just sent in a 20 year old benchrest scope with issues. He said their customer service has been great. No charge to him. Maybe they've turned a page.

Hunting & Fishing 28 gauge side by side

Don't get deterred, don't settle. The 28 is a wonderful chambering. As far as lop, a slip on pad will help. A nice grind to fit is a slightly more elegant solution. Most English style shotguns will be to short for you. I had one for a couple of years and really miss it. Look at CSMC website...

Hunting & Fishing 28 gauge side by side

You won't go wrong with Connecticut Shotgun round body. Really well made for an entry level sxs. I had one for a bit in 20. I also get the sxs bug. No, they don't win any Trap or Sporting clay comps shooting against dedicated rigs. I have several Beretta o/u. They will last forever, well made...

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

So, has anyone heard anything from Vortex regarding any of the concerns or issues with this scope. Specifically the Elevation being stiff, the Parallax being stiff, the locking elevation. I just put an o ring under the turret on mine to take care of it. My suggestion was to disable the locking...

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

Yeah, my elevation turret is slightly harder to turn, I'll just jack off with my left hand for awhile and it shouldn't be an issue. To me, the glass is better than my 7x35 ATCAR on the high end, yeah the detent is different than my gen2, I put a square cut o ring in the gap too. Problem solved...

Rifle Scopes Considering a Nightforce NX8 2.5-20 for a long range AR, thoughts?

I got an NX8 32 f1 for my AR 15. Love the size, pretty unusable over 27 power, eye box is tight at higher mag. Yeah, the parallax is finicky. But it has been solid. Great p dog scope. I'd do it again.

Why I'm divesting of VV N570

N570 is pretty easy to get out here. I tried it in my 338imp. Already have a great load with 33 but, hard to get. My biggest complaint is that the kernels are the size of Lincoln Logs. Hard to dispense. Plus, it is Hot, I got rid of it. Seemed to shoot good though.

.308 Lapua Brass ….Tight primer pockets!

New BR brass can have very tight pockets too. I use a Q tip and spray one shot on it. A quick swirl in the pocket, wait a minute, and it makes a world of difference. Usually much easier on the second firing.

Double barrel shotgun brands - your recommendations or warnings...

Like stated earlier, Beretta has been making shotguns for a minute or so. You'll never wear it out, neither will your kids. I've transitioned to SxS double trigger field guns, I'll never give up my Berettas though. The Rabbit hole can get REAL deep real quick with shotguns. Ck Connecticut...
